These are one day courses in Devon, focussing on specific subject matter. These now take place at my local village hall, where we can have more room than in my studio previously. Days are grouped together to give people who travel a long way the chance to stay in local B & Bs.

The Watermill, Italy 2026

I will be teaching ‘Pastels and Mixed Media’ at the Watermill at Posara, September 12th to 19th 2026. 
We will use a combination of soft pastels, pen, Conte and pastel pencils to capture the landscape and architecture of this beautiful place.

Horse Art Retreat in Andalusia, Spain 2027
I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching at the Casa de los Cuadros in Andalusia, Spain, May 9th to 15th 2027, where we will be drawing and painting horses in soft pastels. 
I will take you through my process in achievable stages, understanding structure, textures and capturing movement with soft pastels.
As well as guidance to draw and paint horses from life and from photographs, we will visit the renowned Royal Equestrian School of Jerez.
