Zoom pastel workshop: ‘You Can See for Miles!’
February 3 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us for a live zoom pastel workshop, to capture a beautiful fresh day from a high viewpoint on the moor, and to create depth in your landscape painting. From foreground textures of lichen covered rocks, to the soft blues of the far distance. Full of tips and techniques for mark-making, palette choices and composition to capture a sense of openness, freedom and bright sunshine.
There will be a recording available the day after the session if you register for the event.
You will receive a detailed list of materials, photographs for reference, and a drawing to help you if you need it.
We will use soft pastels. You do not need to have the exact colours that Rebecca will use. We will work on a grey mid-tone pastel paper or surface for the main piece, and some practise paper for a tonal and colour sketch.
How the session works
I will be demonstrating in my studio, and my ever-patient husband André will be hosting the zoom session. You can ask questions during the demonstration, using the ‘chat’, and I can answer questions at the end, face to face.
A recording of the session will be available after the workshop if you have registered for the event.
When you register for the workshop, you will receive 2 emails;
The first will be a confirmation email.
The second email will arrive a few minutes later. This will contain the links that you need for the zoom and also to access the PDF containing all the information you need, including reference photos and a materials list.
**PLEASE LOOK IN YOUR SPAM FOLDER if you do NOT receive your 2 EMAILS very soon after booking.
If you do NOT RECEIVE them, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!**
Please read ALL of the information.
I look forward to seeing you on Monday 3rd February!
