Zoom Pastel Workshop, ‘Autumn on the Moor’

Join us for a live pastel workshop, capturing the drama of a fresh Autumnal day on the moor. With bright, low sunshine, and soft clouds racing across the sky. Dramatic rocks, rich orange hues of bracken, and the freshness of the great outdoors.

This demo will also include tips on how to convey a sense of space, use of composition to capture drama and a variety of pastel techniques for textures.

A recording of the workshop will be available afterwards for those who have registered for the event.

There is a list of soft pastels, although you do not need to have these exact colours. We will work on a grey mid-tone or dark pastel paper or surface

You will have access to a detailed list of materials, photographs for reference, and a drawing to help you if you need it

This is a workshop to suit all abilities, but some experience of drawing will help.

How the session works

I will be demonstrating in my studio, and my ever-patient husband André will be hosting the zoom session. You can ask questions during the demonstration, using the ‘chat’, and I can answer questions at the end, face to face.

A recording of the session will be available after the workshop if you have registered for the event.

When you register for the workshop, your confirmation email will contain 2 links. One link is to a PDF containing all the information you need, including reference photos and a materials list. There will also be the zoom link to the class.

Refunds – We do not offer refunds on zoom workshops as a recording of the session will be available after the workshop if you have registered for the event. This means that if you cannot attend the live event itself, you can catch up with it in your own time.
