Places often come up nearer the date, so it is well worth doing this.
Using pastels to draw and paint the landscape, both near and far. Looking at features such as trees, rocks and water, and how we can vary our mark-making and palette to capture the forms and the energy within the landscape, as well as the quality of light and time of day.
Rebecca will start the day with a demonstration of how she uses pastels for landscape work, and then you will spend the rest of the day working on one or two pieces of your own, with continued help and examples from Rebecca.
You can bring your own reference, or Rebecca will have a selection of reference available to use.
This will be a course to suit all drawing abilities apart from complete beginners. Everyone can progress at a pace they are happy with.
