Small Unison Pastels Starter Set

Rebecca and Nel have chosen these 30 unison pastel half sticks as the perfect Small Starter Set. They have included a wide choice of colours, but also aimed for a balance of colour, saturation and tonal range.

As well as beautiful hues, there are purer colours to mix in and enrich other shades, and the set provides a range of soft pastels that can be adapted to different subject matter.

It is a great little set for taking out sketching, or on holiday. We always use this set on our courses, and Rebecca uses the set as a foundation palette for her landscape paintings.

Large Unison Pastels Starter Set

Nel and Rebecca have chosen these 36 full stick unison pastels as the perfect Large Starter Set. They have included a wide choice of colours, but also aimed for a balance of colour, saturation and tonal range. There are 6 additional colours to the Small Starter Set.

Unison Pastel Portrait set

This set of pastels was developed by Rebecca as she painted portraits of people from around the World. It is a celebration of the variety of skin colours there are to paint.
Unison Colour have a fantastic range of colours and hues to choose from, and it took many hours of tests and trials to narrow the selection down to these 36 full sticks.

Unison Pastels Landscape set

This set was chosen by Nel Whatmore to include her favourite Unison Colour pastels for painting landscapes and seascapes.
The fascinating mix of warms and cools, and lights and darks, can perfectly capture the qualities of light created by changing seasons and weather conditions.You can see how Rebecca has used this set as a foundation palette for her painting ‘Every Cloud…’

Unison Pastels Floral set

This set was chosen by Nel Whatmore to capture the vibrant colours of flowers. However, with its varied range of greens and subtle, natural hues, it also works beautifully as a landscape set.
Nel and Rebecca often use this palette on the New Pastel School courses.

Unison Pastels Animal set

This set was developed by Rebecca to create a large range of pastel animal work. All animals bring colour challenges, from black dogs to chestnut horses, white fluffy cats or lions and tigers.
Soft pastels are the perfect medium for animal work, with their textural qualities, and this comprehensive set will help you develop your work and create beautiful paintings.
