PAINTING HORSES IN ANDALUSIA, SPAIN 2027

Drawing and painting horses in pastels
- I am so excited about this art retreat!
- I will take you through my process in achievable stages, understanding structure, textures and capturing movement with soft pastels.
- As well as guidance to draw and paint horses from life and from photographs, we will visit the renowned Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Jerez, and see a show of the incredible dressage horses!
- The bedrooms are doubles with ensuite and there are still some rooms available.
We are still refining exact details, but the structure of the week will look like this;
- Six nights arriving on Sunday 9th May.
- Monday & Tuesday – tuition days (including live drawing sessions & studio sessions).
- Wednesday – free day to explore local towns, relax in the casa, or work at your own pace on your artwork. This day could also be a great chance to sketch the local landscape outdoors with your pastels.
- Thursday – part tuition and also a trip to Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in Jerez (including a show).
- Friday – tuition days as before.
- Saturday return to Malaga.
Many participants extend their trip and stay in Malaga or Seville before and /or afterwards.
